This shit is fuckin’ hilarious! Funny song and the video looks like every New Jack Swing video from like ’88 to ’93. Does this dude, Lou Draws, have anymore songs/videos?

Latest edition of the Warning Shots series…
So we’ve got another joint off “Dollar-Sign Language” available this week. On “True Romance,” Spec Boogie uses’ Lil Wayne’s “Shooter” to tell the story of a Katrina survivor and a girl from Harlem who fall in love and go on a crime spree. Songs like this show why everyone is so excited about Spec Boogie: “True Romance” is conceptual, impeccably told, and utilizes one rhyme scheme for the entire song. Ridiculous.
Elucid drops more heat with an extended verse over the beat from Ice-T’s “Lifestyles of the Rich and Infamous” to discuss ways of living that are less the former than the latter. Here’s a snip of his stunning lyrics:
My environment decayed
Crack vial maze on the playground
Bullets crowd the air, so we stayed down
It made me, never really shaped how I viewed myself
Just the cards I’m dealt
They said I’m bigger than this
While them niggas are wildin’
My crew chain-snatch, ain’t nobody smiling
Grew to pack heat, I was scared of them sirens
W.E.B. and street legend admiring
Blood in my diary, never seen a man cry
‘Til Pops threw a rose in the cold, watch the tears fly
Uncle in the earth, man, that felt like a landslide
Death shows time with addictions you can’t hide
Spec Boogie’s Dollar-Sign Language will be available for free download on
Digital Gravel next week.
